The International Yōseikan Budō Federation (IYBF) is the only institute authorized by Yōseikan School Founder Master Minoru Mochizuki of Japan to represent Yōseikan Aikidō of Japan in Canada and USA, to issue dan ranks, to train and authorize teachers qualified in this discipline. The appellation Yōseikan, the logo, and the black belt with the lengthwise red stripe are registered trade marks of the IYBF and their use is reserved to its members in good standing. Any use unauthorized by the IYBF risks confusing or deceiving the public and exposes its perpetrators to summons and legal action.
